Soundscape Studio
A teaching toolkit for listening and field recording. 264 exercises in 16 categories, a geolocated sound archive, a real-time spectrogram, a Composer on Schafer's categories.

A toolkit for teaching listening and field recording, adopted in the Conservatory and Fine Arts Academy courses taught by the author. 264 guided exercises in 16 categories, filtered by context and goal, cover active listening, field recording and soundscape analysis.
The interactive map records and geolocates soundscapes, building a sound archive of the territory; the real-time spectral analyser (20Hz-10kHz) visualises sound while you listen. The Composer turns recordings into compositions, with clips arranged on Schafer's categories and mixed by moving through the map space. Exports to KML, GeoJSON and CSV for research; works completely offline.
