Algorithm Generator

An algorithmic composition environment bringing Max/MSP patches into the browser via RNBO. 47 musical scales from different traditions and 28 chord types feed 11 synthesis engines built on Tone.js; generative p5.js visuals synchronise with the sound.

Control comes from probabilistic parameters, Web MIDI for external hardware, smartphone accelerometer and a peer-to-peer mobile controller paired via QR code. Savable presets build a library of configurations. Experimentation material for teaching electronic composition and interaction design.
